TABETHA FROST

MS, OTR/L

Tabetha is a pediatric occupational therapist with more than 15 years of experience supporting children and families across a wide variety of settings. She began her career at a nationally recognized children’s hospital, where she worked alongside multidisciplinary teams in inpatient mental health, medical-surgical care, hematology/oncology, and outpatient therapy. These experiences gave her a strong clinical foundation and an appreciation for the many physical, emotional, sensory, and environmental factors that influence a child’s development and participation.

As her career progressed, Tabetha transitioned into school-based practice, supporting children across public and private educational settings and collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals. Her experience also includes in-home and community-based occupational therapy, giving her a unique perspective on helping children carry skills beyond the therapy session and into the environments where they live, learn, and play.

Tabetha is especially passionate about helping children who experience challenges with emotional regulation, fine motor development, transitions, and everyday independence. Her approach is strengths-based and relationship-centered, with an emphasis on understanding the whole child rather than focusing only on individual skills or behaviors. She believes some of the most meaningful progress happens when children feel safe, capable, and understood.

Caregiver partnership is also an important part of Tabetha’s work. She enjoys helping families better understand what may be influencing their child’s experiences and providing practical strategies that can be incorporated into play, routines, transitions, and everyday family life.

Originally from Kentucky, Tabetha now lives in the Charlotte area with her husband and four children, including twins. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, exploring nature trails, reading, watching her children play sports and continuing to learn about child development.
