Picky eating VS problem feeding

Food-themed watercolor background

Many children are picky in their food choices as they grow and learn to adapt to new foods. However, when their diet is limited, it is effecting their growth, and it is negatively effecting the family's quality of life and mealtime, there may be further concerns.

  • Does your child have an inability to try new foods?

  • Do they only avoid/eat certain textures or a specific food group?

  • Do they eat less than twenty foods?

  • Do they cough, gag, or vomit during mealtime?

Is the child’s picky eating a stressor for the family or for child’s growth and
development? Yes? This is who we treat.
