Rebecca graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Biology. She then decided to pursue her passion and obtained a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2016. Since graduating she has been serving the Charlotte area pediatric community and holds 7 years of experience. Rebecca has served in the clinic environment, schools, daycares, and homes.
She loves working collaboratively with families and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes for her clients. She believes in using a strengths based approach to motivate clients to achieve their goals. Rebecca has experience with a variety of diagnoses including general developmental delays, ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, genetic disorders, seizure disorders, cerebral palsy, and sensory processing disorders. To best serve her families she has completed additional training in SOS approach to feeding, ocular motor impairments, sensory integration, Handwriting without Tears, and DIR/Floortime approach.
Outside of her career Rebecca enjoys being a mom of two toddlers, traveling, exploring national parks, cooking, and gardening.
