Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Appalachian State University in 2016. Since becoming a speech-language pathologist, Lauren has worked in private practice settings, providing speech and language services to children of all ages.

Lauren has 10 years of experience working with children with a wide variety of communication needs. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed helping children strengthen their speech, language, and social communication skills. She believes that parent/caregiver collaboration is an essential part of successful therapy and enjoys sharing practical strategies that can be used at home to support each child’s progress. Lauren is passionate about creating a positive, engaging environment where children feel confident, motivated, and excited to learn.
 

Lauren enjoys incorporating play-based activities into therapy sessions and believes every child deserves an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs to help them reach their full potential and communicate with confidence.

Originally from Charlotte, Lauren now lives in Waxhaw with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, swimming, photography, and visiting the beach whenever she can.
