Emily Colvin is a licensed occupational therapist specializing in pediatric care in the outpatient setting. She has a passion for child-led, family-centered care, and uses a play-based, individualized approach to support development in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, motor planning, self-care, and emotional regulation.

Emily is a native to the Charlotte area. In 2018, she received her Bachelor of Education in Human Development and Family Life Education from Samford University. In 2021, she obtained her Master’s of Occupational Therapy from AdventHealth University. She has a background working with children with a wide range of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, oculomotor challenges, anxiety, and sensory processing difficulties. She has experience working with children of all ages in a clinic, school, and home settings.
Emily values creating a supportive and welcoming environment that encourages clients to connect, play, and participate in meaningful occupations across environments. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys cooking, traveling, watching basketball, and Auburn football.
