Bethany, a Pittsburgh native, earned her associates degree as a certified occupational therapy assistant from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte in 2017. Following graduation, she began her journey in pediatrics working at Novant Health in outpatient rehabilitation. It was there where she discovered her passion for early childhood development and treating children with feeding difficulties, sensory integration, and physical disabilities. She has experience working with children with developmental delays, physical disabilities (such as cerebral palsy), sensory processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and other fine motor deficits affecting school aged children.
Prior to becoming a COTA, Bethany graduated from Ohio University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in sports management and business, which brought her to Charlotte, where she has planted her roots. Bethany grew up around OT her entire life, it just took her some time to realize that it was her true passion and how she could turn it into a career. She looks forward to meeting your family and helping your child blossom!
