Megan is the proud co-founder of Happy Kids Therapy and a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist with more than 15 years of clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2006, where she was recognized as the outstanding graduating student. She later received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2008.
Since beginning her clinical career in 2009, Megan has developed extensive experience working with children in multidisciplinary settings. Her advanced training includes sensory integration, vestibular dysfunction and Astronaut Training, oculomotor dysfunction, fine motor development, handwriting programs including Handwriting Without Tears and Fundanoodle, neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT), kinesiotaping, and visual motor and visual perceptual development.
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Megan is passionate about serving children and families within her local community. She strongly values collaboration with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to provide individualized, effective care that helps children thrive.
Outside the clinic, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, practicing yoga, and being outdoors.
