Megan received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from North Carolina State University in 2006 and her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2008. She has been a treating therapist since 2009 and has gained valuable expertise in the area of pediatrics over the years in a multi-disciplinary setting.
Megan is from Charlotte, North Carolina and excited to be helping children in her own community. She has specialized training in many interventions including: sensory integration, astronaut training for vestibular dysfunction, oculomotor dysfunction, fine motor skill development, handwriting including Handwriting Without Tears and Fundanoodle, neuro-developmental treatment approach (NDT), constraint induced movement therapy (CIMT), kinesiotaping, therapeutic listening, and visual motor/ visual perceptual development.
Megan is passionate about community-based services as well as collaboration with families, teachers, and other medical professionals to best serve her patients. Outside of her work with children, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga and being outdoors.
