Maria earned her B.S. Occupational Therapy degree in 1995 from Florida A&M University. For the past 10 years she has exclusively worked in pediatrics in North Carolina and South Carolina. Maria has immersed her level of knowledge and expertise to focus on the pre-crawling infant with a special emphasis on feeding and development. She has experience in home health, preschools/daycares, and outpatient clinics. Maria is passionate about early intervention and supporting families with education and therapeutic techniques to support infant development.
Maria grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and has lived in Charlotte, NC since 2003 where she raised her 4 daughters. When she is not busy with her family and friends, you can find her listening to a podcast while outside in her garden, trying new plant based recipes, traveling with her husband, reading, or exercising. She looks forward to meeting you and your child to help support and facilitate developmental milestones for feeding and development.
