Emily TODD
OTD, OTR/L
Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina in 2020 and her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree in 2023 from Huntington University in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She relocated to Charlotte, NC for her Level 2 Fieldwork and Capstone Project semesters where she gained experience in early intervention, school-based practice, outpatient pediatrics, advocacy, and program development.
Emily is a South Carolina native and the third OTR in her family! She is passionate about working with children and their families and has interests in sensory integration, feeding, advocacy, and education. She is excited to begin working as a pediatric OT!
In her free time, Emily enjoys painting and drawing, traveling to the beach, and gaining professional development experience – she is a published author in the Journal of Occupational Therapy Education. She loves spending quality time with her family, friends, and dog, Kip.
