CARLY WALKER

MS, OTR/L

Carly received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2021 and went on to earn her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences at the Austin, TX campus in 2024.

As a student, Carly gained fieldwork experience working with children, adults, and geriatric populations within outpatient and inpatient rehab settings. She was able to apply evidence based treatments into practice and help clients progress in order to reach their desired goals! She is excited to be a new member of the Happy Kids team as an entry level OT practitioner.

Carly has a passion working with children and is able to create a safe, engaging and creative learning environment during therapy sessions. She has a primary interest working with children experiencing neuromuscular conditions, developmental delays, and sensory processing disorder. Carly is eager to expand her knowledge within a variety of specialities and conditions. She hopes to help children achieve lifelong skills and abilities to improve participation in daily activities!
